The string quartet is our most popular ensemble and is made up of two violins, a viola, and a cello. It creates the effect of a small orchestra and most of our song list is written for it. Highly recommended! For an especially grand and formal event, you may want to consider adding to the string quartet with a trumpet. A trumpet fanfare can add a dramatic and celebratory touch!

The string trio (two violins and cello) is also a wonderful option and would be a great for smaller venues. The sound is still full and resonant, and plenty of song choices!

The duo (one violin, one cello) and solo violin create a more intimate sound and well suited for a small wedding. Very beautiful as well!

Before your wedding day, we are happy to help with choosing your music selections. On your wedding day, we coordinate with your wedding director and adjust the tempo and length of songs to help it flow seamlessly.

In a typical ceremony, we would perform at these moments:

• Thirty minutes of prelude music before the ceremony as guests are seated

• Seating of mothers and grandmothers

• Processional of the wedding attendants

• The Bridal Processional

• Unity Candle/Communion/Reflection

• Recessional/exit music after the couple has been presented as husband and wife

• A short postlude as guests are leaving the ceremony

After the ceremony, we can continue playing in your cocktail hour or reception.
